Favorite Things | July

The fact that it is already July 1st totally blows my mind.  This year is flying by.  I can't help but think red, white and blue during the month of July and I picked some of my favorite things right now to share with all of you.  Happy Birthday America.  Happy Birthday to my Mom.  And kick some A$$, USA!!!

Favorite Things | July

Izze Sparkling Pomegranate - Annie posted an Instagram picture of this a couple of weeks ago and I was so parched that as soon as I saw it, I needed to find one right that minute.  Even thought I didn't get it that minute, I hunted them down and they were as delicious as they looked in the picture.
Kendra Scott Rayne Necklace - I wore this necklace in yellow for my son's birthday party this weekend and now I want it in every color.  It is the perfect necklace to make an outfit.
Blue Moon - There is something about an ice cold beer in the summer that tastes so good.  These beers are the best for daytime and the orange flavor gives you just enough citrus to take away that "beer taste."
USA Men's World Cup - Who's been watching the men's World Cup???  I love how our country goes crazy for the World Cup even when 99% of us know nothing about the sport and could care-a-less about the game.  I happen to love soccer and played for most of my life!!
Bark Thins - These are amazing.  I was addicted to Brownie Brittle and now I've moved onto these.  I love the dark chocolate with the salty pretzel taste.
Saltwater Sandals - These are the best sandals for kids! They are adorable and they stay on their feet. I love them.
Swara Jewelry Bracelet Stack - I recently purchased a set of these bracelets and I love them.  Mine are navy blue and I also wore them to my son's birthday party.  They are the perfect arm candy!

What are you loving this summer???

I'm sharing my favorite things with Emily and Ally and all of you!!  Thanks for stopping by and have a happy happy 4th of July!

Scenes from our Weekend + My Favorite Things | June + A Big Announcement

Happy June Everyone!  Can't believe it's already Brody's birth month (tear)!  I was sweating my butt off nine months pregnant and glowing  miserable at this time last year!

I have been on the road a lot during the month of May and I was really looking forward to this weekend to chill at home.  Sadly, hubby was out of town on an annual work trip with the guys; so it was just me and the Brodster to hold down the fort.  You know what??  We had a blast.  I can't get over how much fun this kid is becoming and how much he entertains me.  I know it will only keep getting more and more fun, but it was so nice to have my little buddy to keep me company all weekend.  I seriously could just eat him up...and sometimes I do (the chubby thighs)!  We played around the house most of the weekend because the weather has been pretty gross.  Lucky for me, I had loaded up at the grocery store last week and I became a cooking fiend this weekend!

I attended my friends funeral on Friday which was incredibly sad, but wonderful to see all the outpouring of support from our small community.  I also truly appreciate all of you that kept their family in your prayers as well.  They had a gathering at their house after the memorial service and I got to see tons of old faces from high school which was so nice.

Saturday I did some fun cooking!  My sister-in-law and her sister came over for dinner and I cooked crab cakes over salad with corn, cherry tomatoes and some roasted butternut squash I already had in the fridge.  It was delicious.  I promise to share the recipe, but I'll be honest.  The trick to my crab cakes are getting fresh jumbo lump crabmeat which I know is hard to find in a lot of areas.  I also had bought the seasons first batch of fresh peaches around here and made a homemade peach cobbler which is out of this world and so easy!! We paired it with some butter pecan gelato and LOVED...

Then I have to leave you with this precious video of Brody interacting with his 8 week old cousin, William.  We were eating dinner and William started to cry, so Brody walked over to him to try and help him out...

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and happy to welcome the month of June!!!

I'm sharing my favorite things for June with Emily and Ally and all of you!! I hope you enjoy them as much as me :)  Plus see below on another exciting new link-up and new venture for Home of Malones!!
My Favorite Things | June

24: Live Another Day - I don't know if any of you were Jack Bauer fans in the past, but I was a 24 ADDICT!  It's been so exciting to see Jack back in action and to enjoy another season!
Slice App - This is an AMAZING app especially for us "internet shopaholics."  This app keeps track of all of your internet purchases and uses the tracking information of your shipments to let you know exactly when it will be delivered.  It also provides you with a pie chart of your expenses (yikes).  I tend to stay away from that :)
Nico & Lala Custom Invitations and Event Branding - These girls are incredible.  I worked with them for my bachelorette party and wedding and now working with them for Brody's first birthday and they are incredibly talented and design the best SWAG!  I can't wait to share more from his bday soon.
Cere Ve Moistorizer - A friend of mine who is a dermatologist gave me this lotion a couple weeks ago and it is life.changing.  You can find it from the drug store but somehow I've never seen or heard of it.  It is very thick and meant for rough, tough skin like your feet or elbows, but I have started using it on my legs and it feels so good and moisturized.  You won't be disappointed.
Yosi Samara Flip Flop - I picked up these flip flops when I was in New Orleans a few weeks ago and they are the most comfortable flops you have ever walked in.  Seriously, they have a cushioned sole.  They come in so many cute colors, but I chose the tan to go with everything.  Next, I want to try out some of their ballet flats and I've also spotted some other really cute ankle sandals I want.  They came so close to going in my Nordstrom's basket, but I resisted because I know I don't need them.  Or at least right this second.  Maybe next week...

April Favorite Things

Beauty and the Greek

Linking up today with Emily at Beauty and the Greek to share my favorite things for this month!

April Favorite Things

Chia Pods -
I recently discovered these adorable little pods at our local Fresh Market and they are so yummy.  They have a bit of a weird texture, but are so tasty.  They keep me full for awhile and chia seeds have so many wonderful health benefits.  Explore their website for more information!

Michel Beach Soap -
I love a BIG bar of soap.  I don't know why really, but I just do.  This brand always has some wonderful scents, but I recently purchased this beach scent and I'm in heaven.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with SPF -
I've never used anything like this before as I have a pretty lazy everyday make-up routine, but I recently said that I want to improve this.  I also know how important it for me to wear SPF daily to protect my skin as I am quickly approaching 30.  This stuff goes on so light and is truly dreamy.

Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray -
This is a product that I've had forever and just started using again.  My hair is shorter than it used to be and this "salt spray" really helps give my hair the effortless curls that I love.  I use this wand to curl my hair.

T25 -
I did Shaun T's Insanity before my wedding two years ago and now I have been sucked into his T25 workout.  I love it.  It's 25 minutes and so perfect for a Mom like me that is lucky to carve out that much time to myself.  These workouts make you sweat and feel so good at the end.  I've got to get by butt in gear for summer!

Via Spiga Frederica Sandal -
I don't own these sandals but I am into these "caged sandals" that seem to be all over his spring.  My adorable 68 year old aunt was wearing a pair to dinner with me a few weeks back and they were so adorable on her.  She's so hip.  I think I need a pair for the spring.

What are you loving this spring???

December Favorite Things

I'm linking up with Emily and Kylie for our favorite things in December.  Here's a lists of things I'm loving for the most fabulous month of the year!!

Beauty and the Greek

My Favorite Things | December

Starbucks Peppermint Mocha - Loving the peppermint mocha's this season.  I order the tall so I don't feel bad not making it "skinny."
Thymes scented votive candle - Fraiser Fir. Best. Candle. Ever.
Prenatal Gummy Vitamins -  I am terrible at taking pills, but who doesn't love gummy vitamins.  They made these in the men's vitamins first and I am so glad to have found them in prenatals now too.
philosophy shampoo, shower gel & bubble bath - They make the best smelling products and this one doesn't disappoint.
ABC Family 25 Days of Christmas- I love the 25 days of Christmas and they've got a great line-up this year!

What are you loving in December??

FIve on Friday and My Favorite Things for November Linkup

Hooray for Friday!  Linking up today with Darci, Liz, Christina, and Natasha with my five on friday and also with Emily at Beauty and the Greek and Kylie from Lipgloss and Lunges for my favorite things for the month of November!

{One}  HALLOWEEN -  It was so much fun celebrating Brody's first Halloween.  He wore his costume for a total of 15min, but that's okay.  We snapped a few pictures, got some good laughs, and then threw on something cooler and walked the streets a bit.  I hadn't passed out candy to trick-or-treaters in so many years...It was a blast to answer the door and try and guess what all these kids costumes were.

{TWO} Needlepoint Stocking - Needlepoint stockings have been a tradition in my family for a long time and me, Matt and Bella all have one and this year I just order Brody's and I am so in love!! I can't wait to hang all of them on the fireplace (hopefully in our new home).  This one came from Lands End.

{THREE}  Speaking of the new house, our kitchen backsplash was installed this week and I am so smitten! It turned out better than imagined and I couldn't be happier!

{FOUR}  FLORIDA vs GEORGIA - So excited for this game this weekend!  We will not be attended it, but I will certainly be watching it on TV.  This game is played on neutral turf in Jacksonville, FL and is known as the world's largest outdoor cocktail party.  It is no joke.  I attended the game every year as a UF student and made it back for one or two after I graduated and I certainly hope to make it to a few more in the future.  It's a blast!

{FIVE}  My Favorite Things for November -  I'm linking up with Emily at Beauty and the Greek and Kylie from Lipgloss and Lunges for my favorite things for the month of November!
My Favorite Things | November

Revlon Kissable Lip Stain - I have this lip stain in about 10 different colors that float throughout my different purses and diaper bags.  I love them so much.
The Christmas List App - I have already started my Christmas shopping this year (which doesn't normally happen for me), but I am determine not to be stressed about it come December.  This is such an awesome app to track your purchases along the way! I've used to the past two years and love it.
Josie Maran Argan Oil - I love this oil all the time, but especially wants colder weather starts to move in and I need something to hydrate my skin really well.  This stuff is worth the money plus it removes eye makeup. #bonus!
Our Best Bites Oreo Turkeys -  I made these turkey's a few years back for our Thanksgiving table at my Mom's house and they were our place card holders and all of our guests went absolutely bonkers over them.  They were the cutest damn things ever!  They are a pain in the ass to make, but the end result is worth it.  I think we will make them again this year unless I find something else that is just as cute!
Slow Cooker - A slower cooker is great to break out this time of year to make some awesome soups or stews and also for all the great football games that are on this month!  I can't wait to try out some new recipes with ours!

Hope everyone has a fantastic weekend and is recovering from all the Halloween festivities!! xoxo
