Mid Week Muse : Rocks Box

A week or two ago I was reading Zelle's blog when she was talking about this awesome new company, Rocksbox.  As soon as I saw her images and read about the concept, I knew I had to sign up!!  Rocksbox is similar to Citrus Lane (for kids) or Birch Box (for beauty) where you pay a monthly fee ($19/month) and are sent some fabulous jewelry to wear for as long or short of time as you'd like.

Here's the scoop:  

You sign up (here) and then take a short survey on your jewelry style (delicate, statement, metals, etc). Your own personal stylist will pick out 3 pieces for you and mail them to your doorstep.  It felt like Christmas when mine arrived!! 

Once you receive them, you can wear them as much as you want until you are ready for a new set.  And if you fall in love with a piece like I have with this gorgeous gold cuff you will see below, then you can keep it and purchase it for 20% off retail price.  Just let them know which pieces you want to buy and send the rest back and they will send your next box right away!  

They make shipping so easy by providing a return address label and using the same small envelope that it was sent in.  You just drop it in any big blue USPS mailbox and you're all done! So easy.

Wednesday Wishlist

Although I am trying to spend the rest of the year focusing my efforts on buying gifts for others and not purchasing clothes for myself, I had to round up some cute sale items today.  The Nordstrom's Half Year sale is AMAZING! Sorry to be a bad influence if you are trying no to buy for yourself too!  Just take one quick peek :)

Joie Silk Shift Dress - On sale at Nordstrom's and looks like the perfect black shift dress to wear throughout the holiday season.
Equiptment Blouse -  These blouses are the best and normally run over $200 and are now on sale at Nordstrom's for $83. That's a steal for these tops.
J Crew Leather Sleeve Top - I've had my eye on this top for awhile.  I love the leather sleeves and grey and black are just the perfect colors.  

Red Coated Skinny Ankle Jean - Megan over at Style Me Swanky showed off these pants in one of her posts and they were adorable.  I'm loving the coated jean look this season and these are affordable too.  
Kate Spade Issa Sandal - I'm a sucker for Kate Spade shoes and these are on sale at Nordstroms and I just love the look and particularly the gold heel.  
Michael Kors Lexington Watch - This watch looks like a men's rolex to me and I love it.  Michael Kors always kills it with his watches. 
Three Dots Open Cardigan - Adore this cardigan for the winter over skinny jeans or leggings. 
David Lerner Faux Leather Leggings - Not a bad price for these faux leather leggings and everyone in the blog world is raving about them.  
BB Dakota Colorblock Fringe Coat - Another great sale item at Nordstroms.  Cute look for the winter and the fringe is so fun.

Fall Fashion: For the Baby Boy

I'm pretty excited to see my little man all bundled up in cozy clothes for the fall and winter.  We are just now starting to get some cooler temperatures here in Florida and I am loving it!  I am a huge fan of the darlin' smocked outfits for babies (some that I showed off here), but Brody is a little too young still to look cute in the long-alls for winter and really fits better in some of these cute sweater one-pieces.    

Some of my favorite stores to shop for Brody for everyday wear is Gap, JCrew and Bloomingdales and I found some cute accessories from H&M as well.  Navy, Reds and Stripes seem to be popular colors for the babes this season and I am all for it.  Check out some of these adorable ensembles:
