Pink and Turquoise Baby Girl Nursery

Welcome back to another week of the Pink Door Home Inspiration Link-Up.  I'm pulling one from the archive today, so I apologize to any of you that have already seen it.  I wanted to share our baby girls nursery which is one of the most recent rooms in our home that I've re-decorated.

During the first week of the Pink Door Link-up, we shared a home tour.  Last week, I wrote about how I find inspiration when decorating our home and the tools I use to do it.   Today, we are all sharing our nursery or nursery plans with each of you.

So make sure you go check out these girls and their adorable nursery's!

Make sure you make it to the end of the post because we are doing an amazing giveaway from Design Darling!! I love her shop so much and can't wait for one of you girls to win.

Now here's the story behind Madelyn's nursery...
I absolutely adore the way the room turned out and it is truly one of my favorite places to sit and enjoy.  I actually find that we spend a ton of time in here thanks to the huge awesome rug I decided to put in the room this time.  When this room was Brody's nursery, we had a tiny rug in the room so it didn't make it comfortable for playing on the floor.  Now we play on the floor all the time!

This room seems so hard to photograph with the right lighting.  Some of these photos I took and some were taken by my photographer friend, Tyler.  I tried to link everything below, but I know I'm missing a bunch of things.  If you have questions about something, just let me know!

I really designed the entire room around this Michelle Armos Painting which was my first purchase for her nursery.  You can see that I tried to keep the room pretty similar to how it was set up when it was Brody's nursery and just adding new colors and accents!

I hope you enjoy it as much as me :)

And since I'm nosy and always love looking in other people's closets, here is a look at Madelyn's.  My heart is happy when it sees an organized closet!  A friend of mine lent me a ton of her daughter's clothes, so that's how this thing is already jammed packed :)

How cute are these closet dividers??? Since I have such a wide range of sizes this time thanks to some awesome hand-me-downs, I really love having the dividers to stay organized!

Halloween Jammies + PJ Party Link-Up

There is something about festive pajamas on little kiddos that make my heart smile. Brody has more Christmas pajamas than I should ever admit too (maybe enough for each day of the month in December {JK}) and several for each of the other holidays as well!!   There are several different places I like to look.   Old Navy and Gap always have great choices and run awesome promos all the time.  Hannah Anderson's are pricey but truly last and are the softest  organic cotton.  I also love to buy holiday jammies from some of the online auction sites like Smocked Auctions and Southern Tots.  You can always find some baby pajamas at Target too.  I gathered up a few of my favorites this year and shared a little Halloween photo shoot of the kids for you!

Our Weekend + Christmas Tour + PJ Party Link-Up

Can you believe it's the week of Christmas??  It's already been a crazy month.  I feel like it's been non-stop, but I really kind of like it that way.  I'm looking forward to a fun few days with my family coming up.  We spent this weekend celebrating Christmas at our house with my hubby's family which was a blast because it really got me into the gift-giving and gift-getting spirit :)  I woke Sunday morning, after we had celebrated with them Saturday, ready to open up all of our gifts!!  Brody had a blast with his cousins and he was pretty cute with his new toys!

I wanted to share a quick tour of our holiday decorations today too and a couple photos of Brody rocking some of his Christmas jammies.   As I've mentioned before, I was extra excited to decorate for Christmas this year because it's our first Christmas in the new house.  I love all the festiveness! So without further adieu...

Thank you to everyone that's sent Christmas cards this year!! I love every single one of them.  They truly make getting the mail a joy rather than a chore.

Brody's room got a little festiveness too.  You can see more pictures here

I did add just a touch of holiday spirit to our guest room as well with these cute standard shams that I picked up from SteinMart last year on sale! They were a very lucky find.  The red and green pillows were one's I already owned.

Here's a couple snaps of Brody this weekend getting ready to open his presents from my in-laws.  He loves his new toys!

Lastly, I'm sharing a couple snaps of Brody in his Christmas pajamas.  He wasn't exactly in the mood for photographs and ready to go night-night, but he still looked snuggly and sweet!
