Happy Two Year Blog Anniversary to Me

Has it really been two years since I started writing in this little corner of the internet??  I honestly can't believe it.  Yesterday was actually my two year anniversary; but since we had our Thanksgiving link-up planned, I thought I would celebrate it today.

 I really wish I had my act together and would have put some time into planning the best giveaway ever for you ladies to show you how much I appreciate you coming around every day, but I didn't.  Instead, I'm going to take a little walk down memory lane and do a small giveaway that I'm certain you will still love!



Since it's been two years, I wanted to take a little time and brain dump reflect.  I loved looking back at this 2013 Recap post from last year and it made me excited to look back and recap this year next month.  I took a look at my blog stats as well because I always love to see what the most viewed posts are.  You know what?  They are always the posts about babies...Baby Registry, What's in my Hospital Bag, and Postpartum 12 Weeks.  After that always comes Wedding posts and then a house tour.  

You know what that information reminded me of?? That people love to read about things that teach them something...it's so simple.  That's exactly how I got sucked into the blog world to begin with.  I wanted to find all the best ideas when planning my wedding and then I wanted to know everything I possibly could about pregnancy along with all the "must-have" items that a tiny infants HAS TO HAVE.  When we started building our house, my focus shifted a bit from wedding blogs to home design and decor blogs.  I found so many wonderful ideas for our home by reading other peoples experiences and opinions.  It's truly incredible the amount of information we have at our fingertips these days.

I find that those blogs that offer a lot of great information on certain aspects of life are wonderful, but the only thing that's really going to keep me coming back day after day is the person behind the computer screen.  I love getting to know the writer and if their blog doesn't offer that, my time is usually short-lived.  I find it hard to connect and then lose interest after I read what I was looking for.  That really brings me to what today is all about...YOU.  I want to thank all of you for hanging around and commenting each day.  They always put a smile on my face and provide such a fun outlet of communication.  I love this little blog world and those of you that I get to e-mail with regularly and the others that I've actually gotten to meet!  It's an amazing little community.  If I haven't met you, please take this opportunity to say hello and introduce yourself and let me know how long you've been secretly reading along :)
