Five on Friday

TGIF!!! So excited for an exciting weekend ahead with Halloween and also one of my favorite football games of the year, Florida vs Georgia!!! Go GATORS :)  Here's my random five for the week:

{One}
Thanks so much for the encouragement on the postpartum update yesterday.  I loved hearing from you and some of your advice and tips that helped each of you.  I added a little bit more to the post on something I forgot to mention that also helped me which was the belly bandit.  You can read more about that on the post linked above.

{Two}
Brody had a Halloween Party at his little school that they invited all the parents and family to.  It was fun to see him interact with the kids in his class and work on some cute holiday art.  Kids do make the holidays quite a bit more fun!!

{Three}
I couldn't resist making these cute mummy cookies and cupcakes to take to his classroom for the party and also to have for Halloween on Saturday.  I found the candy eyes at Target and Joann's and just dipped the nutter butters in white chocolate.  It was something fun I could do with Brody even though he really just enjoyed eating the cookies!!

{Four}
Are you a No-Reply blogger??  Jessi over at Jessie's Design just wrote a post on how to fix this problem.  It's always a shame when we can't respond back to blog comments via email!  I know most of you have fixed this, but I still get several that haven't and it's worthing taking the time to change in just a few minutes!!

{Five}
We're planning on leaving baby Madelyn behind tomorrow night with my MIL while we take Brody over to a friends house to go trick or treating.  Baby girl still got a little costume and I had to snap a few cute pictures of her in it.  How cute is that little bunny rabbit??

Have a happy and safe Halloween weekend!!!

  6. I love Madelyn's sweet bunny costume!! Those cookies look so delicious!! I keep wanting to add to what I'm taking to our Halloween party but, know there's not going to be a ton of people so, I need to hold off but, gosh there's just so much fun, cute & delicious looking stuff!! And I totally agree that kids make the holidays that much sweeter & fun! Jack isn't even to an age where He can participate yet but, just making memories with him is the best! Hope y'all have a great Halloween weekend!!
