36 Week Pregnancy Update | Round 2

I'm going to keep this pretty short and sweet, but now that I am seeing the doctor on a weekly basis, I wanted to try and document these last few weeks.  I really love being able to refer back to these pregnancy updates from my first pregnancy and I think I will like being able to look back at these too!!

{Dress (old from Target)}

Date: 8/25/15

How far along? {36weeks+2days}

Baby Size? Baby is the size of a Honeydew Melon

Total weight gain: 30 lbs
Maternity clothes? Yes, but still have a few things in my non-maternity wardrobe that I can wear.

Movement: Tons of movement and they are getting really strong.  She moves all the time but moves that most at night as soon as I lay down in bed.

Symptoms: Wanting a nap on most afternoons.  I'm out of breath from carrying Brody up the stairs.  I still get some restless legs at night and sometimes waking up in middle of the night and can't fall back asleep.

Belly Button in or out? in but it's definitely getting more flat.

Wedding rings on or off? Off

Best moment this week: Working on the kids bedrooms!

Exercise: None!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not anymore!

Gender Prediction: It's a GIRL.  We were able to find out at an ultrasound at 16 weeks that we're having a girl.

Labor Signs: Even though this is my 2nd pregnancy, I still think I confuse the babies movement with braxton hicks.  I don't think I've had too much for labor signs.

Happy or Moody most of the time: A little of both!

Doctor's Update:  At my 36 week appointment the doc confirmed that the babies head is down, but my cervix is still closed which means there is no dilation yet.  I wasn't expecting to be dilated yet, but was excited to hear that babies head is down and ready to go.

Doctors Update at 37 Week Appointment: Still no progress at my 37 week appointment.  Cervix is still closed!

And if you have missed any of my pregnancy updates this time around, here they are:

    1. I'm not going to lie! It's a lot harder this go round trying to keep up with a toddler!! I stay pretty exhausted, but probably not as exhausted as I will be when this new baby gets here and we're all not getting any sleep!!

  9. you look gorgeous mama! I can't believe you're carrying Brody still. I get out of breath climbing up the stairs by myself let alone being pregnant and holding a toddler!

  10. I can't believe we'll both have a new baby here before we know it!! And I'm so glad you confuse braxton hicks with the baby's movement too. I have no clue which is which but I guess as long as the contractions don't get intense and more often it doesn't really matter!
