Scenes from our Weekend

I think it might be a record for us this year that we have been home for three weekends in a row.  We are on the road a lot, so it's been so nice to enjoy some gorgeous weekends at our own house.  We had my husband's family in town on Saturday and Sunday and it was so fun to see Brody play with his cousins.  They are so sweet to him and keep him entertained very well!

Friday was spent at home with steak fajitas and fresh-squeezed margaritas!  Oh and we finished watching the second season of House of Cards. Oh. my. God.  Go watch it now.

Brody was so sweet before bed Friday night that I had to share this picture.  I loved his little pajamas from Gap (last year), but we love these new ones from this year on sale.  We read about pumpkins and called it a night!

Saturday was filled with family, football, and fattening food.  I made crack potatoes, pigs in a blanket (thanks Katie for reminding me of a childhood favorite), and Matt grilled sliders.

I put out some cheese and crackers in my favorite Gator platter and we settled right into the Mancave

Brody snuggled with his sweet cousins on the couch while they showed him a little Mickey Mouse.

Sunday we brunched out at the Grand Marlin and then headed out to the beach for a little fun in the sun.  My sister-in-law took some great pictures out at the beach, but I don't have them yet.

Naptime at the beach...the best kind of nap.
