Scenes From Our Weekend: Pumpkin Picking

We headed to see our friends in Mobile (about 1 hour away) this weekend who moved into their new house recently, so we were dying to see that, and also for our little boys to meet again.  The Dad's had a fishing trip planned, so us girls and the babies were left to our own devices.

We got there Friday evening and sat with the babes outside on their awesome back porch with the big screen TV and visited and relaxed for the evening.  Bella (the dog) made herself right at home.

Saturday morning we had a leisurely morning and all hopped in the King size bed and watched game day and played with the babies.  Their little boy is 9 months old and Brody is 3.5 months.  Last time they were together, Brody was only 2 weeks old (aka a sack of potatoes) and Baylor was 6 months old so there wasn't a ton of interaction.  This trip, Baylor was interested in Brody for sure; but Brody still couldn't provide a lot of entertainment back to Baylor.  It will be fun to see them together each time in the future.

Around lunch time, we dressed the boys in their fall attire, packed them up in the car, and headed to their church where they had a great big pumpkin patch.  It was so cute to see the boys checking out all the pumpkins, snap a few photos, and then head to lunch.

So, the Mom's might have had more fun at the patch then the boys did this year; but next year, I am sure they will appreciate it :)

Brody seemed to take it all in at the pumpkin patch, but I could not get a smile out of him for anything.  Oh well!

We took the kids to lunch and headed home for naps after a fun afternoon of pumpkin pickin'.  We made it home in time to watch the Gator game and then the Bama game and had a quiet evening at home with the babes.

Holiday's sure are more fun with a doll kid to dress up and tote around!
