Nursery Design Board

This is my first go at one of these design boards.  I did this one on Olioboard.com and it was really quite simple; however, my board didn't really come out like I had hoped for.   Mainly because its not exactly how I visioned the room yet it has a lot of the elements I was looking for.  Oh well, it still shows the basic idea.  I am planning on working with a white, cream, light blue, and silver color palette.

The nursery bedding was the very first thing I purchased when I found out we were expecting.  During Thanksgiving, Serena and Lily were having a huge sale on a lot of baby items and the mocha and white  bedding shown above were part of the sale.  We didn't know the sex at the time, but it didn't matter because I knew I already wanted a fairly gender neutral nursery with pops of blue or pink depending if it was a boy or girl.

At first, we were not really going to set up any type of nursery in the rental we are in now and wait until the new house was built.  We were just going to put a bassinet in our bedroom and leave it at that. But.I.can't.wait.  I told Matt that this was an important part of a pregnant woman's duties and I needed to NEST! haha.  He couldn't disagree with that, but I did say that I would keep it to a minimum in this house.  So, with that, we are going to have a half-ass nursery in this house but I still get to set up a crib and a few little things to make it feel pretty!
