We spent the holiday weekend in Destin and had no plans but to just enjoy the beach and the pool with the kids. We stayed with my Aunt and Uncle for the weekend who live just a few foot steps from the beach and we had a blast. They were certainly kind to let us move in for the long weekend as we don't travel light these days and when we're there, it's like a cyclone has gone through the house just about every hour!!
We made it home on Monday in time to see Matt's family back in Pensacola. We had fun afternoon at the pool with our cousins!
A good 3 day weekend is what life is all about :)
