House Tour | Office turned Play Room

I'm still in Miami, so I don't have a weekend recap for you yet; but I've been meaning to share this post with you guys for awhile.  I shared this room last year when it was considered Matt and I's office!   The room has evolved quite a bit since then, as we now have an over abundance of toys that needed a home!! I was tired of all the toys filling up our family room space, so I thought I could make this room a little more functional.

The room has now turned into an office/playroom combination.  I'm almost shameful to share these pretty pictures with you guys that my friend, Tyler, took this past Fall; because the room actually looks pretty and not too cluttered.  The truth is that since Christmas it's a total mess!! I made sure to show you a "real life" photo below too so you know that this is not the way the room looks 99.9% of the time :)

This is the closet in the room.  During my "nesting" phase while I was pregnant with Madelyn, I attacked this closet to try and organize and clean it out.  It looks pretty good in the picture, but it's already a mess again after the holidays.  We keep all of our gift bags and wrapping paper supplies in here as well as lots of office supplies and arts and craft stuff.

  7. I love that your office doubles as a playroom! That is genius! And I still think it looks pretty in the real life photo!

  8. Love it! We keep toys in our office for Jack so that He has something in there that is his & doesn't have to be in everything else. Which, sometimes works. Love the whole idea of the space though!! Also, where did you find the hanging wrapping paper organizers in your closet? I could certainly use those!!

  9. Love it, I really want to organize all of our toys, but I know it's going to end up looking worse than your last picture, so I don't even try...or maybe it's just an excuse not to organize...
