Five on Friday

Linking up with these ladies again...

{One}
Party Prep

I rolled 60 forks today while watching one episode of Orange is the New Black during Brody's nap and I felt so accomplished :)  I'm almost finished with Season One of OITHNB and I'm so excited that there is another season waiting for me!!

Entertaining Tips

Speaking of parties, I absolutely love Emily from Cupcakes and Cashmere and she wrote the perfect post for entertaining advice yesterday.   She hosts lots of little soiree's and she's so talented and classy.  I definitely respect her advice and these tips are great for a small dinner party or even a large birthday party.

{Three}
Blue Print Cleanse

I love me some green juice and I try to juice at home as much as possible, but sometimes you just need to break down and purchase a full days cleanse.  These feel so great to do (I've only done 2 days, but I had wished I had 3 days worth of juices) and they taste delicious as well!  They're offering 20% off with the code SUMMER2014 if you order before the end of the month!  Get yours now.

Human Emoticons

So this one day, a few days ago, I was on a group text with two of my friends talking about their birthdays that are a day apart and our text quickly turned to human emotions... Nothing says, "I'm so sad you're not going to be here for my birthday, " quite like the real face.  These human emojis quickly became my favorite way to communicate and I realized I have the coolest/smartest friends ever!!!  Start making your own EMOJIS people!!! Your friends and family will be happy to see your face!

{Five}

My friend, Morganshared this article on Facebook yesterday and I think it can hit home with a lot of Mommies out there that stay at home with their sweet babies.  Motherhood can be lonely and leave you longing for adult interaction and it's important to force yourself to be social and find your niche.  Remember: Happy Mommy makes for happy children, happy husband, and happy life!!!! :)  Go find your happy.  This blog makes me happy and smile every day as well as taking my son to playdates, music class, the pool and squeezing in some gym time for myself.  That glass (or two) of wine at the end of the day with my husband after my sons asleep makes me happy too!!

What makes you happy???

  5. I would love to try those juices but I'm sure it gets expensive. I broke our juicer so I haven't had a juice in awhile and I'm missing it! Have a good weekend!

  7. I love your party color combo and the fact that you are a multi-tasker like me :) I've always wanted to try a juice cleanse so thank for passing on the sale. I am going to check out the lonely mom article because I'm a new stay at home mom this year. I have to make conscious efforts to socialize, get out and about and remember to do the things that make me happy. A happy mom = a happy home!

  12. I am obsessed with OITNB! I watched the entire second season in a day and a half (thank you work from home day). Also love the idea of doing a cleanse, but I'm a total chicken and never go through with it other than green smoothies I make at home. Enjoying following the blog!

  13. Yay! I get so happy when I hear that other people are loving OITNB. My husband thinks it's ok, but he doesn't like it. So, I'm always looking for people to share my excitement. haha
