Scenes from Our Weekend | Disney on Ice and Family Time

I finally had a weekend at home after being on the road for the last three weekends in April.  It was so nice to just chill and enjoy the fam.  Matt's sister and her family were in town which is always so fun because Brody loves his cousins so much!

Brody and I had a day date planned for Friday afternoon with our good friends.  We were headed to Disney on Ice and lunch.  I wasn't sure how he would do since he had never sat through anything for an extended period of time, but he did great!

He, of course, had to have the guitar to take home.  Those shows sure know what they are doing by selling a million $25 dollar toys before, during and after the show!

We had such a fun day Friday, but I was exhausted by the time we got home.  The kids napped for a bit and I relaxed.  Matt came home and we made some cocktails and ordered pizza.  We have this new cocktail that we are obsessed with.  It's 1.5 ounce vodka, 1 ounce St. Germaine, 1.5 ounce fresh grapefruit juice and 1 ounce fresh orange juice.  Shake it up and serve straight up or on the rocks.  I love it both ways.  Matt likes his straight up with a sugar rim!

Saturday was not very sunny, but it was still warm enough to go to the beach.  Since the cousins were in town, we decided to let them all go play for a bit.

Sunday we took the boat out for the first time this season.  It was Madelyn's first time on the boat.  I'm not sure if she liked it or not. She couldn't really decide.

We always love it when the cousins come to town!  They are so sweet and such big helpers.  Brody has so much fun playing with them :)
