Friends, I totally dropped the ball today. I'm going to blame it on these little cuties that are running me ragged :) Here's a quick phone dump of what's been going on this week around our home!!
+ I spiced up Brody's big boy room with some fun holiday cheer. Most of the decor came from Target last year with a few things from Target this year and that sweet Santa quilt at the end of the bed is from PBKids.
+ I saw this fun drink recipe on Pizzazzerie. I've been loving some Tequila lately and this take on a Margarita totally spoke to me. I think I will make this my signature drink for my Secret Santa party this year. What do you think???
+ The house is decorated and the kids are sporting their Christmas PJ's all month long. We've had the best time watching great concerts on TV the last two nights. Andre Bocelli had one two nights ago and last night was a concert on NBC in Rockfeller Center.
+ Taking pictures of a infant is so much more fun than trying to wrangle a 2.5 year old. I found these fun antler headbands in the dollar section of Target and snagged a photo of Madelyn but Brody wouldn't dare sit still!
+ My Mom bought Brody some Paw Patrol big boy underwear this week. Brody has shown some interest in being a "big boy," but still is not potty trained at all. We have just been explaining a few things to him about the big boy potty :)
+ The kids were driving me crazy this morning as I was trying to get out the door to get Brody to school. We were running so late and Brody was being so whiney and nagging. As I was picking Madelyn up to put her in the carseat to leave, Brody said he wanted to sit and hold her. I stopped for that extra minute as I was totally annoyed with the kids and placed her in his lap. And just like that, all the frustration melted away and I was reminded how much I love these babies and how lucky we all are to have each other :)
I hope you have a great day and sorry again for being so late with the link up this morning !!!
