Five on Friday

FIVE ONE FRIDAY

{One}
We had fun celebrating Matt's birthday last night with a few couples at dinner.  It was a fun evening because the restaurant, Jackson's, was featuring the Opera during dinner.  So we had about an hour of entertainment during our dinner with several different opera singers.   We finished the meal off with a special delivery of a huge dessert platter.  It was sent by a friend of ours which was such a sweet touch.

Brody was snoozin' the other morning and slept in later than normal.  Matt and I both walked in there separately to check on him and watch him sleep.  I just had to snap a picture of him all cozy with his blankie, monkey, and all his little stuffed animal friends.

After we had gorgeous sunny beach weather last weekend, I was craving spring and summer clothes. I went in for a little retail therapy and bought this adorable Annie Griffin Top.  I love the colors and pattern.  Of course the weather has been back in the 40s again, but hopefully I can wear it soon!!

My MIL gave Brody a Mr. Potato head for Christmas this year and he is obsessed with it.  If you have a toddler, you need to go get one of these pronto.  I think they are only about $6 maybe.  I would love to find some more accessories to add to our collection.  I don't know if they sell those, but I know they have a Mrs. Potato head too!

I'm headed over to Seaside, FL this weekend for one of my oldest and best friends bachelorette party!  I'm looking forward to a fun girls weekend and a little R&R!  Follow along on Insta as always {@homeofmalones} and I'll be sure to report back on Monday!!

    We had actually bought it for her older sister the year before but last year Abby really took to it. Isn't it fun to watch them get into new toys and enjoy playing with things that you played with as a kid!

  13. My 3 year old loves Mr. Potato heads too! A lot of times you can find a potato head that comes in a bucket full of accessories (I've seen them at Walmart and Toys r us). Also at Walmart, I found my son a case full of mini potato heads and accessories to go with them. He loved that he could put them in the case and carry them around.
