Scenes from Our Weekend

It's been so nice to spend the last month (or two) at home with no traveling and just soaking up time as a family.  We tend to be on the go a lot and since having baby #2, it's really forced us to enjoy life at home and slow down a bit.  This couldn't be a better time of year to stop and smell the crisp Fall air too!

I took the kids for the obligatory #pumpkinpatch outing this week and snapped a few photos.

Thursday evening some of my sweetest girlfriends threw a "Sip and See" at my house for baby Madelyn.  They were so darn crafty and cute with all the decor and I can't wait to share it with all of you in a post soon.

Friday evening we packed up a little picnic and went over to a new piece of property to watch the sunset and visit with some friends and family.  We've had this little picnic bag for several years and we finally got the opportunity to use it for the first time.  Isn't it cute??

CHEERS!

Saturday was a low key day and that evening we had our friends from New Orleans over for dinner and football.  They got to meet baby Madelyn for the first time and we spent lots of time catching up. They are expecting their first child in March and I couldn't be more excited!!

Sunday was spent watching these kids "play" together and hanging around the house to watch the rain.  Baby girl is 6 weeks old today and is starting to make lots of sweet expressions.  I could just eat up these little smiles that I keep trying to capture.

I'll leave you with that sweet little face and hope you all have a fun and productive week.  I know I have plans to accomplish lots this week and still can't believe that the month is practically over!!!

Linking up with Biana for weekending.
