The 20 Question Game

I think there may be a few new faces around here lately and I have had this post in my draft box ever since Natalie shared it; so I thought it would be a good time to finish the post and share a little bit more about me!  These always seem to be fun post to read on other's blogs and I hope ya'll enjoy.

Grab a cup of coffee with me and follow along :)

A little about me:
My name is Annie and I'm a 30 year old living in Pensacola, FL with my husband Matt, our son Brody, our Maltipoo Bella and a baby girl on the way due September 20th!
I started this blog initially to document Matt and I building our first house and being pregnant with our first baby.  I mostly talk about my life as a mom, our house, food, and my love of fashion and shopping.

1.Favorite food:
This is tough, but I would have to say Pizza.  I'm such a pizza lover.  Our go-to order is just a half cheese-half pepperoni pizza, but I also love different gourmet pizzas when were out!

2. Flip flops or high heels:
Flip flops and flats are pretty much my standard.  I'm 5'9" so I've always been tall.

3. Favorite places to shop for yourself:
J.Crew (&Factory), Nordstroms, Shopbop

4. Standard Coffee order:
Grande iced coffee with skim milk and Cinnamon Dolce syrup, but sometimes I love a Frap splurge and in the winter I love a Dirty Chai Latte.

5. Road trip must have snack:
Pringles or Cheetos

6. DIY or hire it out?
Hire it out even though I always think that one day I will become a DIY'er

7. Top 5 TV shows:
24, Revenge, House of Cards, Suits,

8. Favorite Book:
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo Series

9.  Favorite Form of Exercising:
Pure Barre these days

10. How tall are you?
5'9"

11. Do you try something new at restaurants or stick to your favorites?
This one kind of depends but mostly stick to a winner!

12. One make up item you can't live without:
Bronzer- I'm kind of obsessed with being tan!

13.  What's on your nightstand?
It's quite the sight these days with all my maternity crap.  I always have a lamp, 2 photo frames, and a tray to corral a candle ring holder and lotion.  But now I have Honest Company Belly Salve, lip salve, Moms on Call Toddler book and nipple cream which I don't need yet.  At bedtime I always have my phone, baby monitor and a glass of water too!

14. What's one thing motherhood has taught you?
There are good days and hard days, but enjoy them all. These babies are absolutely amazing and they don't stay!

15. Music that reminds you of high school:
Dave Matthews Band!

16. If you could live anywhere in the world besides your current city where would you live?
This is a tough one because I am so content where we are right now.  But if I had to name something, I would say that I wouldn't be too sad if we had to move back to Atlanta.  I love it there!

17. Tell us something about you we might not know:
I was SCARED to death of computer class when I was a Kindergartener.  My Mom and I laugh to this day about it.   I had crazy anxiety of breaking the computer I guess and I would cry and my Mom would have to come up to the school.  It was so weird.  We really never figured it out.  I guess I grew out of it because I can't imagine life without computers now :)

18. Websites you read/browse (besides blogs):
US Weekly, Pinterest, Shopping!

19. Morning person  or Night owl?
I don't even know anymore...Kids change everything, but I guess I will say morning person.  I'm really not even that, but I barely make it up past 10pm these days so I can't say I'm a night owl.

20. Favorite Breakfast meal:
English Muffin with bacon and pouched egg on top!

So tell me something about you that I might not know!

A year ago I shared this About Me post and Why I Blog, so you can check that out too!

  1. Love your comment about being neither a night owl or a morning person! With kids it all changes. I feel like I am never full of energy ;) How do you like Moms on Call for toddlers? I am tempted to try one of their books for both 0-6 months and the toddler years? And yay for another tall girl who loves flip flops!

    1. I have nothing but high praises for all 3 of the Moms on Call books. I'm enjoying the Toddler book right now for advice on how to handle some of the two year old tantrums, but I'm also looking forward to using it when the new baby arrives. They offer several "day in the life" schedules for having a toddler and a newborn. Their schedules are awesome and helped us a ton when Brody was younger and we still use them to this day!!!

  6. I am so not a morning person and in turn I think I have made Presley not be one either. She is a night owl but she sleeps until 9-9:30 most days so I can't complain!

  7. I'm definitely a night owl but during the week I cannot stay up past 11 PM without getting really sleepy, I'm such an old lady, lol!

  9. Love this fun post! :) I have to ask, what is a dirty chai latte? I love chai lattes, but I'm thinking I could dig a dirty one. Lol. One thing you probably don't know about me...It takes me forever to read a book these days. I used to be able to read a book in 3-4 days max. Now I'm lucky if I finish it in 3-4 months.

  12. How fun! I'm with you on the flip flops (or flats) because I'm 5'10" and everyone at work makes a big deal about my height when I wear heels lol
