Scenes from our Weekend | My 30th Birthday

Sorry for being MIA again.  Glad to be back.  We celebrated my 30th birthday last week and rolled into Mardi Gras festivities this weekend (which I'll share tomorrow).  It was busy, but all a lot of fun!

A sweet friend of mine from college sent me this adorable Lilly Pulitzer glass for my birthday!  I'd never seen it before and fell in love.  It was the perfect wine glass for me to use during the party.

Thankfully my Mom was in town all last week and helped get everything ready for the birthday party we had at our house on Thursday night. I still wasn't feeling 100%, so she was a lifesaver!

Everything came together perfectly.  We had about 35 of our friends and family over to celebrate.  We had the party catered and everything was delicious.   We had lamb lollipops, duck gumbo, a salmon cheesecake that was out of this world and lots of steamed vegetables.

It was a great evening and a fun way to roll into my thirties...It still feels hard to believe that I'm thirty.  Yikes!!
