Hi Friends, I'm back!!! Most of you may not have even known I was ever gone because I had a few scheduled posts for you last week; but I actually spent the week down in the Abacos with my family. We had such a wonderful time doing a lot of relaxing and spending time on the boat and beach. We rented a beautiful house that some old family friends of ours own down on Man-O-War Cay in the Bahamas. It is an extremely quaint and charming island with very few people and relatively no restaurants (I think there was one, but it was not open when we were there). Thankfully we had a beautiful kitchen to cook in and two young babies, so going out to dinner wasn't much of an option anyway.
We spent the days on our own little beach or taking the boat to surrounding islands like Hope Town or Guana Cay. We walked around the island and ate a few lunches at local restaurants. Prepare yourself for picture overload as I recap the week with lots of photographs!
This was our pier and the first night we arrived. There was a storm headed our way!!!
This was our house for the week, Bien Choisi! If you are ever interested in renting a house in the Abacos, shoot me an email and I can help you out.
These two cousins had so much fun on vacation! They both did awesome.
We had some absolutely stunning sunsets over the week.
They had paddle boards, kayaks, windsurfers, and lots of snorkel gear for us to enjoy. That is my Mom and MIL out on the boards one morning. How cute are they??
Headed to lunch at Hopetown Harbour Lodge.
We celebrated my MIL's birthday while we were down there too!
Hope Town Light House (the most photographed lighthouse in the world)
Lunch at Nipper's on Guana Cay
My Mama with her grand babies.
Brody's favorite thing to do on the trip was ride on the golf carts. I think he could have done that all day long!
It was wonderful to have lots of helping hands with Brody all week long and to get some much time together. Matt had so much fun getting to spend an entire week with Brody and watching how much he learns and grows in just one week. Beach vacations are truly the best with babies. I'm so happy Brody loves the beach. Now I just wish he could get comfortable in his life vest on the boat....maybe next trip!
Glad to be back and truly missed all of you last week! I'm excited to get back into my morning routine and checking in with all my blog buddies. It's a busy week ahead. I've got something fun planned for all of you tomorrow for our Thanksgiving Day link-up party!! I can't wait to read what you girls have in store for us. Remember, just grab a button and write about anything related to Thanksgiving. Decor, fashion, food, traditions, etc.
