Today I am linking up with Heather & Natasha to share a holiday drink! I love a good, festive holiday cocktail! We had some friends coming in town last weekend for our company Christmas party and I whipped up this little concoction to greet our guests with and cheers before we headed to the party.
Poinsettia Cocktail Recipe
Ingredients
1/4 cup vodka
1/4 cup Champagne
1/2 cup cranberry juice
Crushed ice
2 strips orange zest, each about 1/4-inch wide and 2 inches long
Directions
Combine the vodka, Champagne and juice in a large-stemmed red wine glass. Add crushed ice and stir until the mixture is well chilled. Twist the orange strips over the glass, drop them in, and serve.

What's your favorite holiday cocktail??
Awesome!! The only Poinsettia I've had just has champagne + cranberry juice...thanks for this! What fun to add those extra ingredients!! :)

Oh yes...just wait. That vodka hidden in there can really get you in trouble! Or at least, it did for me :)
DeleteYou had me at Champagne. I love that it's called Poinsettia cocktail.
