House Update : Paint & Cabinets

CABINETS WERE INSTALLED YESTERDAY!!!!

I'm only a little bit excited about this as you might be able to tell from my all caps text above.

They are finishing up today and then next week they will be laying tile in the bathrooms and measuring for our countertops and I am just over the moon excited.  I have been waiting for this phase of the homebuilding process for what seems like FOREVER.

This is the fun part, the pretty part, the part that I had the most influence in :)

The trim really looks absolutely incredible.  My husband gets full credit for all of it and did an amazing job picking it all out.  The trim pops just perfectly with our paint color as well.

We chose Sherwin Williams Repose Gray for the entire house.  Picking paint is so nerve racking because there are SO MANY choices.  Seriously, it's ridiculous.  Plus, colors look so different on the walls than on those tiny paint strips and then each test paint you do on the walls can look different depending on the time of day or which room you try it out in.  Anyway, I am completely obsessed with our choice.

The man cave is looking good. We used a different color paint in this room trying to go for a little different look.  We wanted to make this room more beige with dark wood accents.  There is a little kitchen in this room as well that has really dark cabinets with stainless steel appliances and I still have to pick out our countertops.
