Madelyn's Nursery Inspiration

I had another night of pregnancy insomnia where I woke up about 2:30am to use the restroom and I could not get back to sleep.  My mind wouldn't turn off and the to-do lists just kept scrolling through my head.

I've had this design board done for awhile now and have already made some progress in the room.  Brody is still sleeping in his nursery right now, so I haven't started adding all the pink to the room yet.  I need to decide on an exact time that we will move him over to his big boy room.  I few housekeeping things need to happen before we move him to the other room.

I am trying to keep my job as simple as possible when doing this new nursery.  I'm mostly using furniture that was already in the room from Brody and just adding a few splashes of pink and a little teal.  I'm loving the color combination and it all stemmed from that fun abstract painting I found.

We already put this faux sheepskin rug in the room and I'm obsessed.  It's so soft and it sells for a ridiculously good price in my opinion.  I ordered it in the 8x11' size during a 20% off sale.  It also comes in lots of different colors, but I'm partial to the white!

I'm excited to see the room come together and starting to get a little antsy all the sudden.  You can see the rest of the sources below.
