Thoughts for Thursday | Life Lately

It's been a week since my last post and I'm sorry for that!! It's been a busy week and now I find myself typing this post on my iPhone which sucks!  We've been to Destin then home for a night and then repacked for two nights to head to Biloxi, MS.  We are finally back home and now I'm trying to get back to routine.

We spent this past weekend in Destin with some friends and even though it was cloudy and rained most of the weekend, we still managed to have a great time!

I made Pain Killers for everyone and virgin's for the pregnant ladies. They were so delicious even with no alcohol!!

We let the kids burn some energy on the beach!

These two cuties had so much fun getting into trouble together. They have been playing together since they were born and this weekend they finally really started "interacting and playing" together.  It was hilarious and so cute.

Tuesday was Matt and I's anniversary and we decided to all go as a family to Mississippi where he had to be for work.  It turned out great and we had a blast catching up with old friends!  We lived there for two years right before we were married!

While Matt was working, I found a sitter for Brody, and my sweet friend and I headed to the Beau Rivage for a little pampering and girl time!  We had a massage and visited for a bit before we met up for dinner that evening.

The Beau Rivage always has the most gorgeous flowers out...

We met up with our friends for dinner that we used to have supper club with once a month.  We laughed a lot because so much has changed in 3 years since we've been gone.  Between the 3 couples, we now have 4 kiddos (and one on the way)!

Brody got to bathe with another girlfriend and had so much fun playing with all the girls.  I thought for sure the evening would be super hectic with 4 toddlers running around, but the kids really did great!

Matt and I got home Wednesday night and since we had mostly spent our time in MS working and visiting with friends, we snuck away for a little anniversary date night!

Happy 3 years to us!!! I feel like this anniversary came and went with life in crazy mode, but we're excited to get to focus on some "us time" in a few weeks when we sneak away for an anniversary/babymoon trip!!

  6. We are heading to Destin in June and I am so looking forward to it. On the hunt for a bathing suit small enough to fit little miss for the trip (who knew that bathing suits for 0-3 months could be so hard to find!) Loving all the photos - including the Waffle House wedding one:)
