Scenes from our Weekend

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend enjoying cooling temperatures {hopefully} and fun with family and friends!  I know thats what we did.

Friday was a really rainy day, but the good news was the rain was bringing cooler temps for us over the weekend!  To avoid complete cabin fever, I took Brody to the Pensacola Children's Museum for a couple of hours and met some friends.  I feel so guilty that we've never been before.  It was so cheap {$3/person} and perfectly kid-proof.  Plus, it is a 8 min walk from our house.  We will definitely be going back soon.

Friday night we met some friends for dinner at a new Italian Restaurant in town called V Pauls.  The atmosphere was excellent, service was great and the food was impressive.  I had heard some mixed reviews, but I think they have really worked out their kinks and have a great thing going.  I will definitely be back.

I wore my new BB Dakota In the Clouds Dress and I'm obsessed.  This picture doesn't do it justice and wish we had snapped another one from the night, but I didn't. It's a great price and I loved doing a black and silver combo because I feel like I always wear gold these days.

Saturday we headed to our favorite little diner for breakfast and the weather was so gorgeous, we played outside for an hour or so when we got home.  I took the opportunity to snap some photos of my two handsome dudes.  I managed to get one cute one maybe...

Where did my little boy go??????????

Matt had told me Saturday morning when we woke up that it was cooler outside and I took him very literally and decided to break out my flannel and puffer vest.  Turns out it really wasn't that cold, but I sported this outfit to breakfast and then changed into something lighter.

We had friends over for football most of the day and evening with some good food and pumpkin beer!

Sunday was an absolutely gorgeous day mostly spent outside!  I snuck in a quick run in my kangoo boots while Brody was napping and when he woke up we met my brother's family downtown for an early dinner and drinks.

And we always love to have Sunday Funday with these cuties!!! I love having my family here :)

  3. I love how you dress Brody! You sound like us, we had a bit cooler weather yesterday and I saw a girl wearing a chunky sweater. Um it wasn't that cold still in the 70's, I mean my husband was wearing shorts. Everyone just gets so excited about fall we may get a little ahead of ourselves!
