It was a relaxing weekend at home this weekend with a good bit of rain and one beautiful wedding. My friend Sandi and I grew up right next door to each other through middle and high school and we used to have a blast at one another's house every day after school and we were always getting into trouble together. We've lived in separate cities ever since, but it's always fun to catch up again. I couldn't be more excited for her and her husband, Ben.
The details were perfect and she turned an average looking ball room into something absolutely exquisite!! I was so impressed and in awe of the transformation. For any locals, the reception was at New World Landing in downtown Pensacola.
Small world too as Biana commented on my Instagram photo that she used to use Sandi's fake ID in college! Too crazy...
I had every intention of getting a few cute photos of Matt and I before we left for the wedding; but it was pouring down rain when we left and my MIL (who was babysitting) was putting Brody to bed, so we had no photographer. Oh well. Instead, you get a selfie post-wedding (hence the no shoes).
I broke out an oldie but a goodie for the wedding. I purchased this dress a few years ago from French Connection and I still love it. I'm glad I grabbed it out of the closet and it was perfect for the wedding. Of course, I can't find it anywhere online for you...
Speaking of my closet...I had some fun in there on Saturday while it was raining all day and decided I would pick some items to put up for sale. I actually picked a lot of items and I think could probably even choose a few more. Anyway, here our a few items to hopefully get you excited about the big sale. Right now there are lots of dresses, tunics and skirts. I'm going to look at adding some shoes and jewelry too. This will be my first blog sale too, so if you have any tips on them...please share with me!!
Saturday night we went to our friends house for a wonderful steak dinner and of course the only photo I got was of the cheese platter (and one of the babies)!
Sunday we headed out to the beach to grab lunch and then set-up in the sand for a bit as I planned to watch Daddy and Brody build sandcastles. Unfortunately, the sand castle part didn't happen at all as the wind picked up like crazy and we didn't even get to sit at the beach.
I wore this Madewell sun stitch tunic dress thats on sale! We still enjoyed lunch at the Grand Marlin, but then came back home and played in the backyard.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!! Cheers to Monday!
